What You'll Learn

Defeating Tonberries in battle
Defeating Tonberries in Final Fantasy X-2 can be a challenging task. Tonberries are rare fiends with a short lifespan, often left alone by other fiends due to their tendency to stab each other. They have 9999 HP and inflict a large amount of damage, so it may be wise to avoid them, especially if your characters are at a lower level.
However, if you wish to defeat them, there are a few strategies you can employ:
Strategy 1: Mitigate Incoming Damage
One approach is to focus on reducing the damage you take. You can equip your characters with DEF-boosting dresses, GGs, and accessories to increase their defence. Using an Adamantite can also significantly boost your defences, but it will make your character slower. Having a high level and defence can make the Tonberries' attacks much more manageable.
Strategy 2: Animation and Stun-Lock
Another tactic is to utilise the Mega Tonberries' susceptibility to animation and stun-locking. You can use two or three Thief dresses with high AGI/LCK to chain-attack the Mega Tonberry and prevent it from acting. Alternatively, you can use monsters from the Creature Creator to build a team capable of stunning the Tonberries. Recommended fiends for this strategy include Divebeak, Recoil, and Flak Python, which can be obtained early in the game.
Strategy 3: Specific Character Roles and Abilities
Using specific character roles and abilities can also be effective against Tonberries. One suggestion is to use Yuna as a White Mage and have Rikku and Paine as Warriors. With this setup, you can have Yuna use Pray while the other two attack. Additionally, the Gun Mage dressphere can be useful, as it can learn the White Wind skill, which heals HP and cures ailments.
When facing Mega Tonberries, it is advisable to put them in OVERSOUL!!! Mode to make the battle somewhat easier. You should prioritise killing the Small Tonberry accompanying the Mega Tonberry to avoid targeting issues. Mega Tonberries use the Chef's Knife attack on the character furthest from them, dealing significant damage, so staying defensive during the fight is crucial.
By utilising these strategies and adapting them to your playstyle and available resources, you can increase your chances of successfully defeating Tonberries in Final Fantasy X-2.

Finding Logos and Ormi
To find Logos and Ormi in Mushroom Rock Road in Final Fantasy X-2, enter the road from Mi'ihen Highroad. You will spot Logos and Ormi running deeper into Mushroom Rock Road. Follow them to find out what they are up to. Continue forward until you are greeted by Yaibal, a Youth League member. Agree to help him and then speak to Clasko. After speaking with Clasko, continue down the road and take the left fork up to the statue of Lord Mi'ihen to collect 1000 Gil from a chest. Backtrack toward Yaibal and head past him to the next area of Mushroom Rock Road. Follow Ormi and Logos to the bottom of the gorge, where you will find a crevasse with steps. They will lead you to the entrance of a cave next to a Save Sphere.

Getting 100% completion points
To get 100% completion points in Mushroom Rock in Final Fantasy X-2, players must complete several missions and tasks. Here is a step-by-step guide:
Firstly, players should head to the Mi'ihen Highroad and Mushroom Rock area. Here, they need to speak to all the Youth League members, including Yaibal, and also speak with Clasko. Players should then enter Mushroom Rock and take on the "Foggy Fiend Frenzy!" mission. This involves battling various fiends and Tonberries along the path.
Upon completing the mission, players should head to the Youth League Headquarters. They can then speak with Clasko again and allow him to board the Celsius. Outside the Headquarters, players must speak with Lucil twice and listen to all of Maechen's story without skipping, another 100% objective.
Afterwards, players should follow Logos and Ormi to the Den of Woe to retrieve a sphere, and they can speak to Maroda while there. They can then view the "Crimson Report 1" Treasure Sphere on board the Celsius and speak to Clasko again.
Additionally, players can view the Mushroom Rock Road CommSphere and speak with Yaibal and Lucil. This is part of a series of CommSphere tasks, including viewing the Besaid CommSphere and Kilika CommSphere, and speaking with Wakka and Dona respectively.
It is important to note that players should not skip any cutscenes or dialogues as this will negatively affect their total completion percentage.

Buying items from O'aka XXIII
O'aka XXIII is a non-player character (NPC) in Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. He is a travelling merchant who follows the player's team around Spira, selling items and equipment. The player can encounter O'aka at various points in the game, including on the S.S. Liki, in Luca, and along the Mi'ihen Highroad.
When the player first meets O'aka, he asks for money to help him on his travels. The amount of money the player gives O'aka determines the prices of his wares later in the game. For example, donating 10,001 gil or more will get the player the best prices in all of Spira. The last opportunity for the player to give money to O'aka is on the Mi'ihen Old Road, before the player enters Mushroom Rock Road.
On Mushroom Rock Road, the player can find O'aka and purchase items from him. O'aka sells unique weapons, including a valuable TKO for Wakka with a Stone-Attack customisation. He also sells Thunder-Ward/Proof equipment at cheaper prices than other vendors. It is recommended to buy at least 10 Softs from him before continuing to the next area.
O'aka's brother, Wantz, also runs two shops in the game. Wantz appears in Macalania Woods towards the end of the game, but only if the player speaks to him when they see him on Mt. Gagazet. After the battle with Sin, Wantz can be found selling Tetra equipment at the Thunder Plains entrance of Macalania.
