Find the Haze Lab BURG.L chip
To find the Haze Lab BURG.L chip, players must enter the Haze biome, located in the southwest region of the map. It is recommended that players craft a Gas Mask or equip themselves with Gastro Goo smoothies to protect against the deadly gases in this area.
The Haze Lab has two entrances, each requiring different items. The primary entrance is located on the surface of the Haze, in the central-southern portion of the area. This entrance may be dangerous due to surrounding creatures. The other entrance, the pipe entrance, can be reached by looking for one of the Exposed Pipe landmarks near the border with the Sandbox and the Haze. While portions of the area are submerged, air pockets in the pipes mean a Gill Tube or Bubble Helmet is not needed. However, players will need a Bone Dagger or Spider Fang Dagger to navigate the clogged pipes, and a decent water weapon is recommended to deal with Water Fleas and Diving Bell Spiders.
Once inside the lab, players will encounter TAYZ.Ts, with one path leading deeper into the lab and the other leading to the pipe entrance. After killing a cluster of Infected Weevils, players will reach a display of mutations in mushrooms that eventually lead to the fungus seen in the haze. Pulling a lever in this room will open a door near the pipe entrance, leading to a cave with more Infected Weevils and water.
Past this point, players will find a button in a room full of Haze Fungus, which will lead to the last room containing an Infected Ladybug. This Ladybug has much more health than a normal Infected Ladybug and can summon stronger types of infected foes. Killing the Ladybug will open the door, which requires a Biometric Scanner to unlock. Beyond this door, players will find the Haze Lab BURG.L chip, along with Bratbursts and Grumble's Granola Bars on a nearby shelf.
